Season's Greetings Friends,

During this tumultuous time, let's look close to home for ways we can offer some love and a smile. The calendar is ready to be sent to your groups and friends, and this message from our friend and tireless local volunteer, Betsy Kerr, gives us a way to do something kind NOW :

 "The Upper Room will provide a meal at the Cedar Grove Mobile Home Park, tentatively scheduled for Dec. 7th at 5 pm. There are approximately 40 children who reside in this mobile home park, and we would love to be able to provide each child with a small Christmas gift. If you want to donate a toy, you can deliver it to me or the Upper Room on Broadway. Do not wrap the gift.

 The Upper Room Dining Hall is at 1868 Broadway, a mile or two east of the dollar store and Grocery Outlet. Karen Stenson will receive your donation. I'm in Placerville, in "Eskaton Village". If you have questions, call Karen at 530-497-5146 or me at 530-295-1922.
