The HR-1 bill narrowly passes the House 215-214.

That's good news for the nation's wealthiest, car buyers, parents and wait staff
in legislation that passed the U.S. House early in the morning on May 22. 

That’s bad news for people making less than $50,000,
recipients of Medicaid and food stamps and anyone still saddled with student loan debt.

There’s still a long road to go before it becomes law.
It goes to the Senate next, where it may undergo changes before being voted on yet again.
Where it winds up is anyone’s guess right now.
